AC, the National League is just awful for going beyond the rules, and it certainly didn't take Oldham long to clock on. Most of the neanderthal teams have several on their books who are either happy to fake an injury, try and get a player sent off, request written confirmation from the ref to go back ten yards and it goes on and on. How many times does Quigley get his shirt pulled or even bear hugged on some occasions, and then look at Kabby, not even a free kick for what just about wrecked his career.
The NL management showed their true colours when a high profile (well long serving) manager went on public platforms bragging (proudly) that he told a player to basically cheat so they could gain an advantage clearly bringing the credibility of the league into disrepute.
If the NL management wanted to send a message of being able to police the league this was a good chance to do so, but as on many other occasions they did f... all choosing their normal carpet lifting exercise. Therefore giving clubs with the tendencies towards sh..housery carte blanche to carry on regardless creating the resultant cess pit of a league
