Only a rumour and personally I would not let them anywhere near with the questionable persons that would be in attendance.

Would make sense with the number of Oldham tickets sold, but now they’ve blown it will they still travel.

There was a suggestion earlier in the week that due to many clubs not wantung to hold this game it could be played on the Isle of Man.

I refer to the Gateshead thread.
If it is true and I believe it to be so. Why the delay in announcing it. Surely the NL league want to maintain integrity meaning it can't be played Thursday as a president as all ready been set therefore halifaxs game on Tuesday will have to be rearranged to tomorrow.
I'm off to purchase a copy of the OED to ascertain the true definition of "integrity".

If it is played on a Thursday, I suspect they'll claim there isn't a precedence if the game is played reasonably locally. Aldershot <> Gateshead is a bit of a trek after all, Any idea when the Aldershot players would get in their beds on the Friday morning if it had stayed Thursday.
The whole thing is a mess that was set in motion by the NL as soon as they announced the fixture list, through to the scheduling of the final set of fixtures and continues to this day with their apparent paralysis over a decision.

I think it's based on time, game finish to start time. Being based on milage would open a can of worms. There are hotels in Gateshead apparently, well according to mates who had booked them for tuesday, which was pointless.

Yes I did point the 48 hour thing a while back on this thread. Whether that exists in the NL I have no idea. Obviously a hotel after the game is a non starter as they would have to travel back in the day when they may have planned a training session as we are having today. Add in the expense, not even clubs like us with infinite resources don't normally stay in hotels after the fixture. I think Aldershot had every right to complain about a Thursday fixture given the circumstances.

Kick off at 12 noon Thursday no problem time wise, no inconvenience to CFC, no problems and financial loses for CFC fans. If only TNT had wanted to broadcast at that time.
The NL management not fit for purpose

No inconvenience to CFC fans but there would be obvious inconvenience to Gateshead fans and any travelling Aldershot fans and possibly hotel costs to the club if they were travelling on the day.
The point I am trying to make it’s that there is no good solution once the NL had ****** it up in the first place.

Very astute, but bringing common sense into play it would only effect Gateshead as Aldershot don't play Tuesday. And obviously as something as to give it only seems fair that the party responsible for this and also the most unaffected Gateshead be the ones to suffer not the ones with nowt to do with it.
