12 goals from defensive midfield is ridiculous for Tom naylor, he is the only player we have who you could be sure would do it in league 1 imo.
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

As above, we’ve won 18 out of 21 now, not 18/19 as you posted.
I did say excluding the Solihull game and up to winning the league ( so this excludes the Kidderminster game) it was 18/19. All in it is 18/21. Either way, he has been great and we must find a younger replacement in his style

Nobody seems to have mentioned Oldaker or Quigley!
Seriously it has to be Naylor. Apart from anything else his goal tally for someone in his position is amazing. However I really hope he can recover his form because he has been poor for too many games now, if he can't we are in trouble.
Honourable mentiones also for Mandy, Tyrer, Grigg (who apart from his goals does so much often unappreciated work), Dobra and Colclough (who has been a huge miss). Banks, despite being inconsistent, has also had some memorable moments, notably the thirty yard goal. And Grimes too deserves a mention.

Not sure there is a need to turn this thread into a dig at a couple of players....Oldaker had a couple of very good spells including playing every minute of the 7 game winning streak from Jan 1st into Feb that effectively sealed the title for us as the chasing pack still havent reached the points total we got to at the end of that spell. Quigley scored a number of important goals including numerous winning goals.

I don't think we can overlook Jamie Grimes contribution, the number of games played under PC,yes mistakes but quite often through others mistakes or lack of cover.
His commitment during games and commitment to the club and fans, his community work and club captain as ambassador for the club cannot be faulted.
I believe it would be a travesty if this all went unmentioned.

Naylor has at no stage been poor. Not quite as effective of late but never poor.

Agree. Jamie is often criticised by some on here, but he has been a great servant to the club in recent years. All defenders make mistakes at one time or another.
