We Play the same system, is that an issue?
Still can't score goals from our new strikers.
There is no improvement in defence, the same problem as last season, we leak goals and are predicable as to how we play.
There is not much change in the team from last season.
When you look at the other teams around us, they have no money, take for example Solihull - No money whatsover and yet they are perfoming well,You have your Boreham Woods and Barnet not a lot of money, I can name a few other teams that are performing better than Chesterfield.
What is the soloution?

There's only Barnet that is above us. We've played 7 matches and have lost once. A striker who is scoring just under 1 in 2 and a team who is outscoring any other team in the top 5 divisions.
Yeah, it's time to be concerned......

Miserable ******...
Yes the striker doesn't score goals (just the 3 in 6 so far though...). Grigg brings much more than his 'poor' goal return anyway! Agree that defensively we are currently lacking. However, we have started well and lost just once, if that isn't good enough for you then please stay away!

'Still can't score goals from our strikers' - Grigg has 3 in 6 (1 behind AA in all of last year) and Quigley 2 in 6.
Defence is leaky yes, I'll give you that.
'Predictable in how we play?' - Can't be that predictable if we've scored more than anyone in the top 6 divisions.
'There is not much change in the team from last season' - We've strengthened in every area we needed to (now we have Freckleton) and we're missing Clements through injury.
The squad is 100% better than last season and I have a feeling this post will look very silly in 6 months time.

Akwasi, I do feel for you as you‘ve had a horrendous spell of unfortunate injuries. It can’t be easy what you’re going through, but you’re better than this post.
Whilst there are obvious defensive issues still, we’re doing well and have obviously improved our squad. I’m sorry you’re not getting in at the minute but work hard on your recovery and you’ll be back to your best again soon. All the best in your full recovery.

What is the soloution?
Our main striker is scoring a goal every other game.
Our Keeper is light years ahead of Fitzsimons and we also have a very strong backup keeper to step in.
Tom Naylor is in the top 5 best players in the league and already has 3 goals.
Jacobs is finding his feet and looks a class act.
Berry looks very lively off the bench.
Too early to say with Freckleton.
Yes, there are issues at the back but we are creating plenty of chances (way more than last season) for all of our attacking players. Our bench is very strong every week. We're a better team and more importantly, a better squad than last season.
We are 2nd in the league on goal difference and I don't think we have played anywhere near our potential yet. Only Barnet are currently outperforming us and only by 1 goal. My guess is, you've got the hump because your mate has been frozen out which is fine but don't just make stuff up to suit your agenda. We would perhaps have an even stronger squad if we could move on the players not contributing.

What is the solution?
There is only ONE team performed better than Town and they are only above us on Goal Difference.
Looking at the players brought in this season, can you say that they have improved the team from last season ? - As Dallas & Akinola were not our players last season - YES, Naylor, Berry, Griggs & Jacobs definitely strengthen the squad on last season
Still can't score goals from our new strikers. - Griggs has 3 Goals in 6 Starts ???
There is no improvement in defence, the same problem as last season, we leak goals and are predicable as to how we play. - We have Frecklington now but apart from that it's the same defence as last year, So are you saying Frecklington is not bringing anything to the team Give it time
There is not much change in the team from last season. - Apart from Grigg (3 Goals) - Naylor (3 Goals) - Grimes, Williams & Palmer (4 Goals), Colclough & Mandy (7 Goals in 7 Games) + over 50% of our goals have come from Set Pieces.

Danny Rowe seems to be enjoying the company too, albeit from the comfort of a mattress on the floor in the flat whilst watching Netflix whilst these haircuts are being done. Some duo

Yeah, we're all slitting our wrists watching Town 🙄. Tighten up at the back and this team is good to go in the EFL.

You say you can name a few other teams, well you can’t can you?
You mentioned Barnet who sit above us by the slenderest of margins by one goal.
Look, teams like Solihull, BW and Barnet do have money or they wouldn’t be in existence…
There’s one thing for sure, the entertainment ‘factor’ of this team is second to none….

He was first choice at Solihull for five years and they are doing well again.
Do we pay over the odds ?
If he didn’t want to stay at Solihull he could have been first choice at a number of clubs in this league.
