Does anyone know whats happening with real time live in town? I have heard its closed until further notice but tickets for gigs are still on sale and there has been no gigs for weeks or any form of communication from venue owners. I have heard a rumour the owners have split up. I sure would not buy a ticket for a gig as your money could go into thin air if the place is in financial bother

well the music shop is still open & theres an event upstairs this friday so its probably all nonsense.
any tickets bought are via wegottickets so if anything is cancelled for whatever reason your money is refunded.
any more crap to throw about?

Whos throwing crap about, the event is still advertised for the weekend but so was a oasis tribute the other day until 2 days before the event when it was suddenly cancelled like gigs there the past few weeks, the venue socials have not been updated in weeks, it was the band themselves that said it was cancelled. Im presuming gigs are still listed as they have not got round to removing them. In this day in age would folk just turn up to a event at a venue thats not been active for weeks! I contacted a band i fancied seen in two weeks to ask if gig was still on and band said they would investigate and the event was suddenly pulled from the listings. Somehow dont think its nonsense. As for the music shop, thats now owned by totally different people from the venue

Yeah heard back end of last week it was re-opening but facebook page has disappeared so the owner was posting on the music shops one, very odd but good news about the partnership between the two venues, there was manier time both places had events on competing for the same crowds, late opening at gasoline would make a great place to go after real time live, gets a bit edgy heading into town from that way not late on especially past that blue bell. Guess this tie up had come about due to change in ownership at real time live
