The non performance this afternoon has knocked about 400 I'd say off the gate.
705 my prediction.

Who will be the five starters from today?
Presumably Fulton, Dimaio and Graham will be on international duty. Wonder if we'll get dispensation?

It will also be an acid test against an average lower league team. Don't hold your breath...

With our squad and the injury problems we are better off out of it. We just can't afford to be in it and pick up any more.

No test of anything really unless you want to test our reserves in the main

Y'mean our reserves' reserves.
Mark Smith's lads might get a look-in.

Don't worry if it gets too low we can try the Sheffield Wednesday model of going round the locals giving out free tickets and getting the cost back on concourse sales.

If our lowest ever attendance is ever surpassed it will obviously happen in this competition at some point in the future.

Regarding it possibly being the lowest attendance ever, well the ingredients are all there.
A competition that has never been greatly supported, particularly in the earlier rounds, mess it about by making it a group stage, further muddy the waters with the ludicrous idea of the championship u23 teams, throw in the total mistrust, apathy and complete disillusionment many have with what's happening at the club then finally top it off with the opponents being Accrington, no disrespect meant they'd probably use the same arguement with us, then yes it could well be lower than the Wolves u23 game.

Bang on the money.
The pricing for these games really gets me. I can't see Accrington bringing more than 20 fans at best, didnt Wolves bring 150 odd?
Also, so many disillusioned fans at the minute. Its sad to hear the amount of regulars who are now reverting to pick and choosing games.

I have no problem with them introducing group stages. Its the U23 teams that got me.
I'm much more likely to go to this than the Wolves U23's game.
