to be fair warfey his tenure has given us some of the best times we have known, however it is clear that the giving is now over and I join many others in the fear of where this leads chesterfield football club

Keep your chin up, Dave. This time in five years we'll be in Championship. Enjoy Colchester, and keep that flag flying high.

You may well already know this but I HEAR, ALLEGEDLY, THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE that we have people employed by the club and other people at the top have no idea what their role even is. I'd say "it's from a good source" but I know people tend to cry when you write that so I'll just say I heard it from some random punter. How worrying would that be.

There was a time I'd argue differently, but the events of the last twelve or so months mean it's now a pointless case.

Very true Chris , it was especially prevalent in Arthur cox's time and I used to take them all on , fighting towns corner . Sadly I'm now older and wiser !

Can believe that
Yet we obviously have no one employed at the club who knows how to budget properly or introduce any sort of financial control!

We all love our Club, this is why we spend so much cash on it but, I'm sure we expect, at least some, to be spent on strengthening the playing side and making the product we shell out for, pleasing to watch......that's NOT happening under the present regime and the only 2 ways to make change are.....buy them out or stop feeding their pockets, which goes against our love for CFC.
I keep reading about DA's 5 year plan......tosh!
The only way this Club can rise to the Championship, is if we are taken over by a multi millionaire CHESTERFIELD FAN and not a pigeon racing casino owner, because he has no affinity with us supporters or the Football Club whatsoever.
Well that's my opinion.

Protests which doesn't hurt the club have been done by other teams supporters Problem is we have a chairman who has millions tied in and there's nothing we can do to alter that.

Do you really think they would admit to anything.
The ONLY interesting question that should be put to them is:
How come the club is so in debt after championships, Wembley trips, play offs, lucrative FA cup run & almost £4 million in transfer fees received?? Can you explain why? Please could enlighten the fans???? Fans who constantly turn up in their droves to watch a team stripped of all its assets! A club you wanted in the championship within 5 years...6 years ago!!
