Contemplating buying one that has both my Surname (in full with 11 as LL) and CFC on it.
Anyone got one and regret it?

On a related issue I was once in a petrol station filling up. Fella drove up in a newish mini. He stopped quickly. His front plate fell off. He got out, walked round and reattached it using the velcro that had been holding it on. Not in any way suspicious.

Daughter then had one when she started driving - which she still has. Which meant the son had to have one to be fair but he has never had a car so its on my car. Handy that we share a surname then and that is what it spells.
Pretty close to w****r to be fair...

I've got a CFC one and have no regrets. You do however have to be slightly choosy about which away games you drive too and where you park though!
Oh and you will have to suffer idiots who know perfectly well that you are a Spireite repeatedly saying aaahhh you support Chelsea then...

I have one my birthday and my initials. If I have any advice it is buy it directly from the DVLA. I spotted mine through a third party but it was too expensive but found it on the the DVLA site £800 cheaper. Apparently they buy the numbers from the DVLA and then mark them up massively

And transfer fees are included in the price direct from the DVLA.

Yeah, already been in touch with them as the one I wanted wasn’t advertised nor was it already in existence. They’ve said if I say yes they’ll list it for the price they’ve quoted me and tell me the day/time it goes live on the website but it’s a first come first served basis so can’t guarantee someone won’t pip me to it.

I did think that being CFC it would retain decent value as it may appeal to Chelsea or Celtic fans should I decide to sell it in the future.
