Considering a new job and the hours mean I’ll not be back in time for the home games on a week night.
Cheers!

Yes they are Gord. Pay for the stream on I-follow as DIFH says or watch for free if you’ve got the right ‘equipment’.
It’s the same as in NL, you can stream any game that’s not subject to the 3pm Saturday blackout

With your cheery predictions and half full commentary I think a few on here would rather you work on a Saturday too.

So has Sky purchased the i-follow rights to stream matches. That means we HAVE to subscribe to Sky. The robbing dogs. I left Sky because their charges were daylight robbery.

Think it was part of the new TV deal the EFL signed up to, basically the EFL wanted more money so agreed to more televised games and extended the red button coverage they have for Championship games to League 1 and 2 as well.

No
You’ll still need to pay for I-follow either per game or for the season and you’ll still not be able to watch 3pm Saturday games live on Sky inless it’s international weekend or you can work a VPN.

I’m a bit confused with that statement about needing iFollow. Surely that is only for 3pm Saturday kickoffs where they aren’t shown domestically. As you suggested you’ll need a subscription and a VPN.
I think what was being asked was, are games not on the main Sky channels and are streamed instead, part of your Sky subscription? It wasn’t clear to me whether they are or not. Whatever, I’m sure the extra televised/streamed games will force another price subscription price rise.

IFollow is the EFL version of NLTV, so in much the same way that BT (TNT) have the rights to the NL now, they still can't show Saturday 3pm games now, and nor do they stream every game themselves.
I've not seen anything to suggest Sky will be showing all games live (either by stream or otherwise) so assume they've got the the rights to show the pick of games, move them to what they class as suitable KO times, show all the highlights on a Saturday evening and the remaining games will still be available to to stream under the existing rules/mediums on iFollow.
I can't imagine Sky will be to circumvent the 3pm Saturday UK law.

Looking at links to the Q&As Sky have rights to all league midweek, bank holiday, first and last fixtures of the season games either on their traditional channels or streaming. At the weekends they will show 10 games fixtures in total, 5 championship and 5 L1/L2 games which they’ll move away from the Saturday 3pm slot.
I never suggested Sky were going to show Saturday 3pm games in fact the Q&As explicitly say they aren’t.
It looks to me that iFollow only have international rights and presumably you can use a VPN to circumnavigate the rules. That is the arrangement iFollow had when they first came on the scene back in 2017.
Edit
Incidentally I was abroad in iFollows first season and had trouble subscribing with my credit card and moving from country to country so they seemed to do checks that NLTV didn’t bother with. After contacting their helpline they obviously enable something in my account and when I eventually got back to the UK, I could subscribe to games as I wished

Indeed, although obviously TNT have agreed to share their NL rights to facilitate the streaming and also block the streaming of their televised games.

It is not the law. It is EUFA article 48 which gives member football associations within EUFA the ability to block live tv and/or radio during designated times. Our FA have Saturday 3pm when 50% or more premier league games are scheduled.
