A couple more signings and I reckon this club should do well next season.

Btw that penalty appeal that stags were crying about looked soft as Bunkum
And why is Bowery playing at centre half 😂

Who would your couple of signings replace, Freckleton and Tyrer or others? Where do you see us needing strengthening?

I think we need another striker and maybe addition to the defence.
I can see Tyrer loaned to a League 1 or Championship side next campaign, someone such as Rotherham or Wigan. As much as I’d resign him, I think Everton would want him higher to progress. He will be a first team starter in a few seasons IMO.

It’s a good job the bottom 2 are so bad or they would be coming down to this league, same goes for Salford, Colchester and Grimsby.

Haha, I thought exactly the same. I don’t know if it’s just our bias but that is absolutely not a penalty.

Tyrer is another one who isn’t shy in stating how much he loves it here. I’d like to see him stay as well but it’s not in CFC’s hands.
Being in this situation at a club where absolutely everything falls into place, where players and staff bond so well is a rare event. Moral built by management counts for a lot and we will be taking it to League 2 all being well. One more season with this group will bring dividends in L2 I reckon. Playoffs minimum I think, that’s before we bring anyone else in.

Heard we have an option to keep Tyrer if we want for a year if we're promoted.

From what I’ve seen this season he’s not good enough for league 1 and above just yet. He’s not commanding of his area enough and distribution isn’t up to that standard. Personally I think boot beats him in both them quality's and would be a worthy replacement if he doesn’t sign next season.

So you don’t think our strike force are up to it.

Unless Tyrer sorts his distribution out, I can't see him playing much higher than he currently is.

Quick Google:
EACH CLUB IN EFL LEAGUE TWO IS ALLOWED TO REGISTER UP TO 25 PLAYERS OVER THE AGE OF 21, WITH AN ADDITIONAL UNLIMITED NUMBER OF PLAYERS UNDER THE AGE OF 21. AT LEAST EIGHT OF THESE PLAYERS MUST HAVE BEEN REGISTERED WITH THE CLUB FOR A MINIMUM OF THREE SEASONS OR TRAINED WITH THE CLUB FOR A MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 16 AND 21.
Sorry for the caps- but it’s a cut and paste on my I pad.
