Remember the Gills 10:0 well. I know it might sound bizarre, but I left when the 9th goal went in, I just stand the pain of seeing my beloved Town let 10 goals in!

I would love for the heritage team at the club to do a project where as many fans as possible are interviewed to share their stories from attending home and away games for fans of the future to hear as I hear so many excellent stories from the many fans I speak to

I remember being stood next to Jamie burt in a pub in town when he chucked a load of £20s at the barmaid and said ‘do you know who I am?’ (She didn’t!)

For any older Spireites who remember Glyn Chamberlain he is the latest ex player to be featured on Dave's excellent Legends Of The Spire. Well worth a watch as always.
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to make these Dave I'm sure I speak for all Spireites when I say it's very much appreciated. Brilliant as always.

Two players I remember are Jackir Sinclair and Dave Thompson, neither played many games for us but I really liked them. Sinclair was ex Wednesday and Thompson ex Mansfailed.

Was at Gillingham only reason they got 10 was because Jim Brown played on with dislocated shoulder. What a legend

I remember him very well. Lived opposite me in Orchards Way, off Walton Road. I nearly opted for the Walton Spireite handle but thank God ……!

I lived on Stonegravels and recall seeing Brian Frear going down to the Hare and Hounds on a Saturday night with a glass jug for filling up.
I think the club had a house on Gloucester Road but could be wrong.

Frear, Walker. and Lewis all signed at same time at Easter - 15,000 at Saltergate to see them make their debuts. All if my memory is not failing me in these very senior years.
