Doubles

So statistically we are in a position to beat Wrexham's record points haul and score 100+ goals in the process.
Yesterday the team completed their second double of the season. With 19 wins already, and putting aside the two doubles already achieved, this means there are 15 other teams they've already beaten once and with Gateshead and Solihull still to play twice. (I know they'll be tough games.)
It got me thinking about the record number of doubles completed in a season.
Any ideas for us and English league records?

We didn't concede a double last season an achievement in itself, there are still 4 chances of conceding one this season. However if we don't, to go 2 seasons without conceding one would be very rare I would think and maybe unprecedented.

I’m sure Phil Tooley mentioned 12 doubles as the record on one of his recent Tooleys takes

Nine is the most we've achieved in one season, 1984-5, I think.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

We're supporters. The management and players have to do the concentrating not us. Let's enjoy, let's get excited and let's dream because if we can't do that then the fun gets taken out of being a supporter.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.
