Love that…..Ollie is a top bloke & absolutely loves this club…we sit near his dad & he’s as proud as punch watching him..& Ian is such a nice bloke to talk to.

Got to credit Cookie for the culture he’s created & the players love it

Yeah I really like Ollie and as you say, his comments on what Cook has done are great to hear. We have the odd few fans who still don’t seem satisfied by Cook, thankfully just a few rogues like Cum on u blues who seems to think that just cos we likely have the biggest budget in the league we should be winning it at a canter and Cook doesn’t deserve credit but the price of a united dressing room is invaluable, not every gaffer can do that. We’ve got players who would start for any other NL team content with being out of the squad one week cos they know they’ll get their chance in the next couple of weeks. Fantastic management.

While I’m on my soapbox, many people called out Cook for ‘not having a Plan B’. I repeatedly said we just need to perfect Plan A. That’s what’s happened this season. The blueprint was there last year, we just needed better players with better decision making and here we are, 8 points clear with 2 games in hand.

Basically I’m sniffing my own farts and boy do they smell good. None of this directed at you Waller cos I know you’ve backed Cook from day 1 and you know your football.

But yeah give this a listen folks, Banks is a top lad, a real fahmlee mahn as Harry Redknapp might say.

Very enjoyable and enlightening. Great to hear of the kms put in each week and more of Cook’s philosophy. Excellent hosting as well.

Im not ashamed to say i thought he was an underachiever and have been critical certainly when asked to play out of the front 4,but my opinions count for nothing and his performances count for everything and he has been superb, probably in the top 3 players in this league in the last few months if not No1,long may it last the Glen Hoddle of chesterfield fc....top bloke as well
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

That’s a really good listen, heartwarming really. Not often, at this level, you get to see the guys behind the shirt laid bare so to speak
