Think it will be on

I said exactly the same to my son, but I hope they don’t use H&S around the ground as the reason for postponing (yes, I know everyone has to be safe) ….

All depends on surrounding roads and pavements. If they think there's a chance there will most likely be a shout out for pitch clearing. I'd say doubtful at the moment.

Met office saying light snow at 1pm then rain at 2pm but that’s probably too late to be any use.

The pitch should be ok as it’s nowhere near as cold.

I think the pitch will be ok .....Im guessing it will be H&S and conditions in and around the ground plus travelling conditions which will make the final call. If it is on the weather could seriously affect the attendance which would be a shame.

Clubs just put out an appeal for volunteers to go down and help clear the snow so I’m guessing they still think there’s a chance.

You’d presume some of the seating will have a covering. Can’t see it being on if it’s anything like outside here.

Having said that if it was minus degrees overnight and we all know snow is an insulator wont that mean the temperature beneath the covers won't increase so it will be frozen? I reckon it might be off. I hope not though

The Gateshead match was called off because of serious ongoing flooding in the Chesterfield area. The pitch, the ground generally and the area around the stadium were all fine.

If you take the windscreen theory it’s minus overnight but clear the snow and not frozen and first time all week

If it’s the same for the pitch you think it would be fine underneath bit scientific for Sunday mornings sorry 😂
