Not impressive at all
Even better Barnet drew for an extra midweek energy sapper

Yes. It was obvious quite early on what was going to happen. Berry is a better prospect let's hope he takes his chance.
I agree it’s chalk and cheese between the two but without looking to stir it let’s not forget who signed Jez in the first place. To be fair to him today he was probably the only one trying to play forward for his team and often looked a bit confused by the tactics of the team at times. Somehow get the feeling there’s a decent player in him but big lack of confidence and guile holds him back from really progressing.
Wish him all the best anyway

He was well worth a punt, just didn’t work out.

Trying to play forward?? Must have watched a different game to me (not for the first time)….thought he was the opposite, hardly took the full back on and just played back to his own full back instead most of the time….

Bit strong.
Wouldn't say awful, in parts I thought he was quite good - I'd say he wasn't consistently good.
Could have been shaped into a very good player. Has the pace and a bit of skill which could have been worked on. Maybe Cook couldn't work his magic, maybe he just didn't take on board advice and instructions. Imo the raw materials are there. Shame really.
I'll remember tho in the Sheff Utd friendly Jez sending Oli Norwood for a hot dog & Bovril. Lovely bit of skill

When not in possession of the ball he’s an awful player. No positional sense or awareness of what is going on around him.

One of those players that people were obsessed with for no rational reason.
NL way above his level
