Gesler's Cousin

There was also someone called 'Brassneck' who I believe was another leader of the hooligans around the same time. I can picture him slightly better than Gesler. Anyone remember him?
However what the thread reminded me of was that I very briefly went out with Gesler's cousin Kath in early 1984. This would be over ten years after his hey day so I don't know what he was like by then. The amazing thing was I initially pulled her by headbutting her! This was by no means intentional. I was dancing with her at the end of a work's Xmas party, only having met her that very evening, when my shoe lace came undone. I bent down to tie it up and, drunk as I was, when rising back up I accidently nutted her right on the bridge of her nose. I recall her eyes welling with tears and she ran away to the ladies. Despite going after her to apologise I never saw her again that evening and thought that was that.
After Xmas a mate of mine who worked with her said that despite my giving her a badly bruised nose she was interested in seeing me again and he gave me her work number. It took me a few weeks to pluck up the courage to call her, she had had a skiing holiday in the period which delayed things somewhat. My mate suggested that could be a topic of conversation because I could ask if her nose affected her skiing. I didn't follow that advice!
After aplogising we had just three dates before she dumped me. In that time she told me Pete was her cousin and she had the same surname. I don't know how near she lived to him or how close they were as family, but she did live at Grassmoor. During the dates I couldn't help wondering if she had told him about my headbutting her and wondered if retribution awaited me at some point.
Ultimately I wasn't too heartbroken when she dumped me!

Fell foul of the law for holding up a slow down sign in front of a roadside radar trap. Their speeding drivers was zero.....
I believe he moved to Oxford? must be in his 70s if he's still around.

If its the same guy and I've no reason to doubt it was, Brassneck got his nickname due to scars after some unfortunate accident (fire?) when young. He was in the same year at school albeit different class joining us with a large group following the closure of Pete Websters. I don't recall him being over threatening at school.
