Looks like Gateshead manager is off to MK Dons after Alexander was sacked.
God I hate this league.

He is favourite on the betting markets but as we know with manager betting thats not always that accurate, only takes someone to put a decent amount on and it can shorten the odds massively due to way people can get inside information etc....we've seen it happen with the appointment of one of our managers!!

Would be a big blow for Gateshead if he did leave though.

Talk like its a done deal but betting still open. Still these are strong rumours and whichever way it goes it needs confirming officially soon. This has come about suddenly if mike is appointed. Only sacked alexander yesterday. Word is assistant ian watson going too who could have easily stepped up to take the managers job, after all hes been the main man in the dugout alot as mike has still played up until this season. Of course this would not be the end of gateshead issues apart from thinking who on earth could replace them they would probs take alot of the squad with them

And of course whilst i whish the management the best milton keynes are a toxic club these days ever since karl robinson went

They've had 12 managers in 7 years since Karl Robinson left if you include the stand in stints by folk, 9 in 7 years if you leave them out. Some of the managers have barely seen out half a season.

Fake club anyway. It's ridiculous that they officially have an FA cup win on the history book and yet Wimbledon don't.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Still within the confines of the postcode or at least neigbouring postcodes you were originally, not 68 miles!
NB we moved from S40 to S41

I was just giving an example of neighbouring postcodes. Note I also think that the move from Wimbledon to the Concrete Cow Jungle was wrong on every level as the 'not 68 miles' should have indicated.

They deserve to lose everything for making Kingstonian homeless.

Why would postcode be a determining factor? Some more densely populated areas can have 2 or 3 postcodes in the space we moved?

So, I ask Metallid the same question, how far would he deem acceptable for a club to move.

History lesson time, AFC Wimbledon did not make Kingstonian homeless, Chelsea did, Had Kingstonian not entered administration enabling AFC Wimbledon to take over the lease of the ground with a mutual agreement to still groundshare with what was left of Kingstonian knowing full well that AFC Wimbledon were planning to move back to the Borough of Merton. AFC Wimbledon sold Kingsmeadow to Chelsea to finance their move back to Plough Lane/Merton. It was Chelsea that were unwilling to continue the lease with Kingstonian.

So staying within the confines of their natural catchment area not moving lock stock & barrel to a different county, miles away. There's a reason we called (and some still call) MK Dons, Franchise FC.
