Kicking the thread off nice and early.

Arguably the toughest starting eleven to pick this year for Cookie?

I know he likes keeping the same team after a win but I can't see Dobra at least coming back into the matchday squad for one.

With that said, I'd probably only make a couple of changes myself. Berry still better as an impact sub for me and give Jacobs a bit of a breather and start Mandy on the right. Quigley earned another start and after a clean-sheet the back four certainly deserve another go.

Tyrer
King Palmer Grimes Horton
Jones Naylor
Mandeville Banks Colclough
Quigley

Subs: Williams, DJ, Berry, Dobra, Grigg

Definitely agree this is the toughest selection so far as all those on Tuesday did great. Do we know if Freckleton is fit? I think he’ll play Jacob’s instead of Banks and Freckleton if fit will play ( a bit of height against BW)

Agree regarding Berry - so much potential and will be a star but at the moment better off the bench. Should start in the Cup though

He doesn’t keep the same team after a win. This is a myth busted by all the changes during the 7 match winning run.

Why do people think Cookie likes to keep the same side after a win when he virtually never does?

Doubt Freckleton will be ready he had COVID on Tuesday , just hope none of the others have caught it.

If I have symptoms I always test. Wouldn't want to take it work as there a couple of men who are vulnerable. That said the last time I had it I felt too crappy to work anyway.

Seems a regular thing now Maidenhead, boredom tomorrow staying over Friday night not a extensive mileage to do? Not a criticism, just interested as an ex coach driver, the nearest I got to taking a team was Arnold FC to Yorkshire somewhere with the great Ivan hollett as the manager

The first half of this season so far he certainly did. And it’s not like it’s a made up thing. Webb mentioned it in 80% of his pre/post matches when asked why x wasn’t playing or x was etc.

He’s just setting his stall out to make sure he’s in a position to give our manager zero credit. Win by a goal? Should’ve hammered them. Hammered them? That’s what we were expected to do.

Webb says it’s hard to lose the shirt. Then Cook names 2 or 3 team changes nowadays.

This won't be an easy game at all, but hopefully we'll do a job on them.
