And good luck to Nando's Chesterfield who will be furiously re-forecasting the remainder of their FY24 budget.

If Asante stops turning up and rinsing them of all their ketchup they'll be able to claw most of it back!

My 2 personal favourite memories from his brief appearances with us have to be the scenes on the away end when he headed us in front in the 21/22 play off semi's at Halifax, and that absolute thuderbas*ard of a free kick away at Notts in the 20/21 play off eliminator.
Rumour has it, the net at Meadow Lane is still suffering nightmares from the ferocity of that shot.

I particularly remember the game against D&R when we were able to attend after the Covid restrictions. He scored our first and there was absolutely nobody else we would have wanted to take that winning penalty.
Good luck for the future, Danny, whatever that holds.

A real shame as he was a very, very good footballer. I wish him all the very best with the future.

Not sure why the two reds?
Arnt we glad it’s been sorted and a mutual agreement, and don’t we also need Asante off the books?

I agree pal. These were players that are good players but they are a class below where we are now but are on high wages. We have got to get them off our books.
