Appreciate someone helping me out on this one please.

Were the home attendances in the 2019/2020 season including stay away fans? I seem to remember a home game against Yeovil in December when the attendance was stated as 3100 ish, but there was less than 1400 in the ground that night according to a well connected steward

Did we have that many stayaways that season or was it just that match?

I don’t think it was that low but it started with a 1. I’m sure I’ve seen a figure somewhere.

Carson changed the attendance figure from tickets sold to bums on seats mid season, probably not long after that.

We were definitely getting sub 3000 crowds shortly before Covid struck

Judge for yourself about the attendance that night

https://m.youtube.co...h?v=d33CrJWVzBA

I remember when they announced the attendance everyone laughed

That was that 💩Gerrard giving the penalty away. That was the most depressing nights football I can remember

Wrong season I think, the televised game against Yeovil when Kellerman scored in a game not long after Kabby was crocked.

This should be rolled out whenever people start not picking about the team (not poor performances)

Look what we have now we are on a different planet 🌎

I've a feeling the 'actual' attendance was a little over 1700.

Attendances visibly improved in the new year when Sheridan was sacked and performances improved. That may not have been the most humiliating performance I’ve seen but it was the most depressing night and the lowest ebb in the clubs history.

That must’ve been Gerrard’s last ‘performance’. I distinctly remember after he committed ‘professional foul’ whilst on a yellow the crowd chanted OFF OFF OFF, reckon the referee took pity on him but not on us

Thankfully i think managed to avoid watching many of that side actually live in a game at any point!

It really is. It’s a miracle we didn’t go down that Covid shortened season. That easily overlooked win away at Chorley before we all went into lockdown saved our bacon.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

I didn't go to a home game post relegation (and only one the season before - JL's first game as manager) before the game against Dagenham under Rowe when the ground was re-opened for limited numbers. Only missed one since.

That win plus the hatrick scored by Tyson in the 4-0 defeat of Ebbsfleet kept us up that season. If we’d had drawn either we’d have gone down IMO.

Pemberton kept us up that season, if we’d have kept Sheridan in post the club would have gone down and gone bust like Bury.
