Hi everyone,

Last Monday, Phil Tooley was the guest speaker at the St.Thomas' Centre on Chatsworth Road with an abbreviated history of the club for the Chesterfield and District Local History Society.

It really was a matter of what could be fitted in/what to leave out in the allotted 2 hours, but for your convenience, there're time stamps on the Youtube link below, so you can flick between subjects at your leisure.

S40time is a podcast and website celebrating primarily Music, but also the Arts and Cultural aspects of Chesterfield and Derbyshire life

We recently established ourselves as a Community Interest Company with the help of Simon from The Monkey Park at Brampton, and intend to provide a platform for aspiring artists and musicians to display their various talents.
I put a series together of great places out in the Peak - half an hour or less - from Chesterfield - I even tried to join the Daggers forum the other week, so I could send links to any visiting fans who might want to stay over and check out the local area, but there was a in-depth questionnaire about Daggers history and I couldn't be bothered in the end! Will do it next season in advance of (hopefully) bigger away followings in League 2 (yes, I know, we've gotta get there yet, but I've put £60 on us this year!).

Please have a look at what we're doing, and follow us on the various platforms with this Smart Link... (Youtube/Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc). There're over 2000 regular contributors on the Facebook Group alone

I'd like to feature the club a lot more in future, but I really like what the Sky is Blue and Who are Ya? Podcasts, are doing, and especially the Legends of the Spire - all doing great for the club and fanbase

Nice one. Could have cut the beginning a bit, but learned a lot from that, thanks. New Subscriber!

Yeah, I left that on for the History Society's sakes. I recorded it on their behalf. Also why I put in the timestamps. Thanks for subscribing though
