Just booked the tickets for the friendly, then off to Seville on the Monday.

Anyone been? Recommendations?

Hopefully will try and catch a Seville or Real Betis game (a friendly will do) or at least a stadium tour.

I've been a couple of times, saw England at Betis, its a great city.

You've picked the wrong time of year for any football nothing on (both clubs are abroad for pre-season) but you might be lucky with a ground tour.

I made this mistake with Milan. Went to the San Siro hoping at least for a ground tour and there was a chuffing Kpop concert on.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

As has been said, it tends to get very hot in Seville. The tourist bus tour is worth a go. The metro is decent if you plan to get to the Sevilla stadium. The Alcazar, Cathedral and Plaza Espana are attractive if you like that kind of thing. And it gets very very hot.

Depending on how long you are there and whether you'll get a car, a day trip to the amazing Cordoba with the Mesquita etc is surprisingly doable via the usually excellent motorway. It's about 90 minutes each way.
