[60s 70s Spireite]

I’ve asked if anyone has a copy of this before - apologies if it has been seen before, but consensus previously seemed to be there was no video of this game to be found anywhere.

It seems there is:
Weep for the Owls, as they twice allow a 2 goal lead to be lost.

Blimey I didn’t know highlights of that game existed. I was there as a very young kid. I can actually remember the penalty miss.
No need to weep for us Owls though, as that point helped us pip you to promotion 😉

My dad took me to that game as a kid it's one of the reasons I still hate stupid name and Curran to this day...

I was a pennyless student in Huddersfield at the time. I remember trying to hitch to the game. Only made it as far as Penistone!

Me and 4 of my mates were near the back of the kop when salmons scored, my uncle jumped up and we all ended up virtually on the pitch when we got shoved from top to bottom in seconds. Needed a police escort back to car, we were only on that end because we were late to the game getting there 5mins before kick off. What a great game and will never forget the Mark kendall penalty save.
