Heard he was off to Donny and then Bradford.
A great player and would be unbelievable if this happened.
At 37, folk might raise an eyebrow but after playing at a high level, his fitness is decent and (after watching him in the friendly at ours and the league games a while ago) a natural goal scorer.
Players fitness these days means they can produce at a level for longer, so iexpect him playing somewhere next season -
my head says he's still destined to play higher than NL and, I dare say, money might be a prob.

I’d have him at our place everyday of the week.
Still got the quality to be a top striker in our league.
Although Bradford or Donny could be his preferred destination.

referring back to Liam's recent article in the DT, if there is anything in this rumour it shows that we are looking for the extra quality in the signings, remembering we finished with 84 last season and most of that squad stays in tact, adding key personnel in key positions is clearly the strategy and as Liam's article suggested, this may mean signings are not imminent as we are competing for quality players not just players who will add 1% to our team but players who will add 10% improvement to the team... all that said be nice to get some news soon

Wild speculation on football forums is of no consequence. We'll make signings when we make them. I doubt PC and the board are going to rush into anything because some forum posters live in La La land.

I think the opposite. I think we'll sign a goalie, or two (if Luke Chadwick doesn't resign) and that's it. We already have a big squad, and salary budget, and are aiming to balance the books. We're not paying off, say, Danny Rowe. That's dead money we can ill afford.

I don't think we'll get him, after his stint in charge of Watford, he'll be looking for a Championship club at the very least. I think we'll stick with Cook at least for the immediate future
