Or, maybe we offered him a one year contract but Barrow have doubled that to two years.

Seemingly correct

Barry was ok, I wouldn't have been disappointed if he was in the squad next season. It seemed odd that Dover didn't play him

Agree, he's far better than some who are staying on. He's quick enough to start counter-attacks, can put a good cross in, and not afraid to have a crack from distance. Sheridan must be confident of getting a pretty good replacement - we'll see.

He put one good cross in in two years. All he ever did was just float the ball into the keepers arms, pathetic.

I note that you've not commented on his defensive prowess. Frit when asked to challenge for a header, tackled with his wrong foot, too easily beaten.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I don't think Barry had a long enough run of appearances to warrant the summary judgement of yourself and Admiral Nelson. I prefer to give players more opportunities before passing a final judgement, and Ian Evatt obviously agrees with me, having given the bloke a two-year contract. Maybe you believe Uncle Dave will open his wallet wide enough to allow Sheridan to seriously upgrade the quality of player he can bring in. I can't wait to see Darikwa in a Spireites shirt again next season !

2 seasons and 55 games in all competitions not long enough?

A new hope.

Barry can be summed by his cowardly challenge after about two minutes in a huge game at Vale Park which should have seen him red carded.

Yep. Maybe he has the talent to play at this level and he did improve under Sheridan but Barry Bradley always frustrated me immensely by shirking responsibility and taking the short-cut, cheating or often cowardly option.
These go to eleven.

Player of the season too, the lad has done far more in his career than most expected when we released him

He must have had some cracking games as he’s been fairly anonymous in the TV games I’ve watched him in.

here is the 48 page thread form the time he left for £250k

http://www.thecfss.c...ic=56568&st=940

have a look through, see if anything was confirmed at the time

edit:

also found this quote from Chrids Turner suggesting Morsy did go with a sell on clause

Turner's comments on the departure of Cook, "it's all good" whilst praising himself are quite sickening
