To be fair, I think the fifth official, Billy Sharp, gave the decision.

He wanted to give them a better chance of reaching 100 points. If it hadn't been for the ref's decision we would have come away with a deserved point. Well done Spireites you did us proud today.

Made more galling by their players seemingly urging the ref to send him off. Karma always catches up...

Well done, seriously is that a joke, were rock bottom after 46 games no player deserves any praise whatsoever.

Where'd you find the highlights?
Edit: Found em if anyone wants to subject themselves to that, we did score some actual goals in fairness so almost worth watching: http://www.skysports...-2-chesterfield
I also see nothing in the Gardner incident, maybe a light headbutt as he runs past?

Sharp is an obnoxious deedah at the best of times
If he did elbow Gardner as reported then Dan ought to have made it a worthwhile if he was going to be sent off anyway by flattening him

Gardner said tonight at the player of the year do that Sharp elbowed him in the chest and he did raise his hands in retaliation but thought he deserved no more than a yellow

He definitely slapped sharp, highlighted on Goal Rush on Channel 5 tonight.

What about Sharps dig at Gardner then as he ran past him to place the ball on the spot and the two handed shove into gardners chest shortly after?
That obviously does not count then in the referees eyes lol
Also they had to highlight gardners fairy tap on the obnoxious sharp but not sharps on gardner
