Today near Stoke I bumped into one of the all time greats...... Gordon Banks. What a nice bloke he is. Told him i was from Chesterfield and he said he had so many happy memories of him starting his career with us. I was chuffed to bits to meet probably the all time greatest goalkeeper and that save in the World Cup from Pele will never ever be forgotten.

I remember 'some' of the night very well, took my mate who threw £1k into the cause and also booked a round of golf for his dad's 80th birthday treat. Banksy was a gentleman.
I bought the signed town shirt with Banks No.1 on it but drink led me to give it away to my nephew PT keeps reminding me by sending the photo

I was hoping this thread was going to tell us that Banksy the artist had painted a mural on the side of the North Stand and we were selling it to pay off some of the debt.
