Just out of curiosity merc, how is this going to hasten his exit? JOS is out of contract soon and the amount we receive will be chicken feed, Will barely dent an interest payment to DA. Surely we need million pound transfers to hasten his exit.

Wishful thinking really, I know what you mean.

JOS

Not sure if this Blade is in the know but seems confident the deal is nearly done.

He will be gone at the end of the year anyway as one of the high earners to get off the books

The irony is that probably the biggest earner and another one of highest earners (SEB and Angel) can't be moved on for one reason or another at this critical stage of the season.

Imagine the interviews today

So, Ashley, if I come and manage your side, what sort of January war chest do I have? Erm, nothing.
Ok, well at least I have some solid L1 players like Evans, Oshay and Liddle to,work with? Erm, no,,they are being sold.
Oh. Well can I use their wages to find replacements? Erm no, you've got a first class director of football who's dealing with recruitment.
I see. however we do have one rule, and this is relegation isn't an option.

That's actually probably true. Frightening isn't it?

I think the exit of DW will allow SEB a clean slate so to speak.

Now how the squad feel is another thing.
God I hate this league.

But he'll get a much better contract there than he has here, currently.

According to The FL Zone on twitter were one of a number of clubs interested in signing Man City keeper Ian Lawlor.

Donny, Portsmouth, Bury and Bristol Rovers also interested.

That would suggest Tommy is out for longer and Fulton is going back....or it's just made up!

Not quite

All 6 are still under contract but all have been told they won't be considered for first team selection again and can leave in a free. If they can find themselves a new club. All can obviously sit out the rest of the season, picking up their wages.

One of the six is our old foe Laim Lawrence

If the Scabs re-signed him our friend Wooly would most likely masturbate himself to death

No he wouldn't as that's a sin and not allowed. His boxing gloves might get little tangled though
