Herbert is a brilliant character. A paedo shouldn't really be that funny, but it's hilarious.

Sorry but I can't sit by and let that fly (and I hope to god you're joking); The Big Bang Theory is THE most abhorrent show I've ever seen in my life. It genuinely sickens me how it's so popular because it is the most brainless, typically American excuse for a comedy in TV history. What exactly do you find funny about it?

I like Big Bang for all the pop culture references that it's absolutely stuffed with. Perhaps they go over your head and you just don't get it?

Oh god, more of you?! My own beloved town fans?! I feel betrayed, I thought we were better than this...

I can understand both sides of the argument for Friends, it is a bit simple and bland but the characters are easy to like and interesting e.t.c. Game of Thrones for me is brilliantly compelling but I understand it's a bit slow and too much or simply boring for some people. I just can't understand for the life of me what's funny or enjoyable about Big Bang.

Best comedy from across the pond for me has to be South Park. Over the years it's evolved from a juvenile, foul mouthed show with easy laughs to a bit of a moral compass. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are some of the most underrated writers of our time imo. The way they deal with things like censorship, religion, prejudice and so on is absolutely genius. They dress a lot of issues up in juvenile settings and stories but there's an insightful message in more or less everything they do.

South Park is genius. Have you ever played the Stick of Truth video game? It's very good and like playing your own South Park episode.

Just recently watched every series of the peep show.
I have to say, very very good, for me up there for sure.
And an honourable mention to The flight of the Conchords from a New Zealand duo.
Very funny, worth a look if you ever get the chance.

Peep Show is fantastic and I'm gutted the current series is the last. For anyone who's never seen it every episode is on 4OD, you may be pleasantly surprised at just how good it is.

Yeah it's brilliant. They said when making it that's exactly what they wanted; for you to feel like you were genuinely the new kid in a South Park episode. The best thing about it for me is the amount of references and throwbacks there are in it, you'll be walking along and then see something you've not seen since an episode about 12 years ago! They're making a new one aren't they called The Stick of Truth, Fractured But Whole (of course, what else from Matt and Trey lol).

As for Big Bang I do get the references, I just don't find it to be funny in the slightest. There was one episode where Sheldon said something about "staying in all night and watching the box set of UK sitcom Red Dwarf". It made my mouth slightly twitch towards a smile because I like Red Dwarf but I just don't think it's comedy. Maybe I'm just a miserable snob, I don't know.

Yes hahaha, that's what made me want to try one! To be honest they're that nice I'd probably be doing the same thing as him if a zombie apocalypse ever happened.
