It literally never gets old. Somebody asked me the other day what I prefer out of Phoenix Nights and The Office and it was probably the most difficult question I've ever been asked.

Also love Spike. Stood on the steps leading down to Oxford circus tube in a pith helmet going in search of "the lost tribe of the cockernees".
Agree completely, both Tony and Spike were `fractured' by severe clinical depression. Hancock wrote most of his early stuff himself, then when the BBC offered him scripts he frequently fell out with scriptwriters and developed a reputation for being `difficult' but you're right, his timing was impeccable. Spike was a genius, and that `lost tribe of the cockernees' sketch was hilarious - they certainly tickled a lot of funny bones half a century ago and yet their comedy still remains fresh today.
As for Armand, I think he'll stay at Stevenage - unless both Seb and Novak get injured and he's recalled to play alongside Simons! The mind boggles at the prospect of such a strike-force, but hey!, you never know!

"Shut up pĂssface"
I agree with Misnomer about Phoneshop, I find that absolutely hilarious.
Love the classics like OFAH, Fawlty Towers etc, don't really get American comedy, although I love South Park.
Can't believe no one has mentioned The Office. The UK version was so much better than the US one, which turned into more of a sitcom than a mockumentary.
