Have we even got 11 to start against Barnsley? Dave wanted some money back and he's certainly doing that... god help us this season...

Glad he's gone to work with the legend. Good luck to the Lad, whatever money we got for him. That 120+page thread on PNEonline makes our Higdon thread look small in comparison :D

Not as big a loss as Ryan, Robbo and Cloocs IMO and time to replace. I'm placing my faith in the club and DS that we will go into the Barnsley game considerably stronger than we are currently.

Cut the doom and gloom. Every player is replaceable ffs.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

We're an attractive proposition (I think). I wouldn't go so far as to say we're a professional club that doesn't make mistakes, but we're known for playing good football... ;)

We are getting a reputation for developing players, improving them and getting them lucrative moves to the championship. Next time we're competing to sign a player we will be in a favourable position as they will see how well Eoin Doyle, Liam Cooper, Sam Clucas etc have done out of their spells here. Can't do our recruitment prospects any harm

I'm sick and tired of you and others predicting doom and gloom before a ball has been kicked.

Please tell me how we could/should have kept Ryan,Roberts, clucas,Darwikwa?

i suggest you wait and see like me who we bring in before posting your usual negative stuff

With plans to reduce the debt it would be interesting to know who's being paid off first-all the moaning earlier by DA about the council loan-it would make sense to get that paid off, or anyone else with extortionate interest charges tagged on- I assume we'll see that from financial accounts in due course

Agree, it's a great model. So why are the names we are hearing the wrong side of 30? Along with SEB.

How confident are we that we will be signing the required five match-ready League One standard players?

Saunders will either be wondering why he took this job or if he believes in his own abilities keen to get more money spent than any CFC manager in history.

You don't think all this wasn't discussed beforehand
God I hate this league.

The reality here, is we are left with Morsy and SEB.... it's odds on Morsy will now leave; we have one week to bring in at least eight quality players (as i said on a previous thread)... It just isn't going to happen. We were warned; some heeded the warning, others gaily danced.... It's over and we are fkd!

Thank god he has gone to a decent side and not PNE. Good luck Tendayi, one of our more consistent players and given us many happy hours of good exciting football and I for one hope you play at the highest level. Will this give Drew a chance ? if he can stay injury free.

There is a moral in the story don't spend 6 weeks faffing making offering derisory offers

Apparently Grayson is fuming. He needs to ream himself up the ass for the whole episode

I seem to recall DA saying after the season when we were last relegated, that he had Learned his lesson, and that nobody (staff) were going on holiday until the team had been sorted for the upcoming season! So that the club would never be chasing the last available players!

Oh dear.
