Here's my thoughts on armand fwiw. Thought he was a great character when he first joined, jumped about like an excited puppy when he scored, took his goal against Bristol rovers well (was there 1 against Wimbledon too?), wore his heart on his sleeve and he really looked like he might push on, but this was when we were in league 2. Now I think we have out grown the big man rather than the other way around. I'd be surprised if we signed him up to another year. I like the bloke and really want him to succeed but I think we should be moving on from this type of player and looking towards the laverys of this world. I wouldn't want us to have the temptation of having a player to lump it too, (I know we still have mani btw) it just isn't our style under cook.
Here we go again!

Brill. Now we have to get clubs for Chapman and Gardner.

Thinking on, we might have serious room for manouvre with funds. Drew and Armand out could be a big saving.

Assuming we send Gardner out too, am I the only one thinking the cupboard's now pretty bare up top? Our options appear seriously limited...

You don't need the capital 'B' in "bullying," should have a full stop instead of a comma, an apostrophe in can't to show the contraction, and a full stop at the end. The spelling is perfect, though :P

Why the comma after perfect?
Oh, and I think his comma, rather than the full stop, was fine.

Not many of us have, but the obvious conclusion is that Cook already thinks he's a better bet for the 'Gnanduillet role' than the man himself.

No comma required between "contraction" and "and".

That's why I'll stick to teaching English and refrain from mentioning that your grammar is as dodgy as your politics.

And, probably will do.

Maybe, letting him go to Oxford is a way of keeping him match fit for the play-offs whilst giving Cook a good chance to assess Lavery in case he comes available in the summer.

Someone actually took time to go onto the Oxford United message board and totally slate him.

How sad.

Some melt called 'lemlinspire'. I've noticed he crops up on a lot of rivals message boards. A real sad act. Totally exaggerates his opinions on everything for effect. Armands no world beater but I can see him being really effective for Oxford.

Good luck to Armand, hope it works out.

A committed and hard working player, but I can't help feeling that his "presence" up front often led to the long ball option which doesn't suit us. Also, for a target man, he needs to work on holding the ball up to bring the midfield in to play, it doesn't "stick" to him as it should.

However a different team with a different approach could see him playing regular football. All the best my French buddy.

Cirenspire lives very near Oxford and posts if we are about to play them with reasonable posts - leminspire is a new one on me but nothing surprises me about forums.
God I hate this league.
