My little boy attended his first game today and he loved it.
He went out onto the pitch before kick off, saw town score 3 goals had a photo with a legend (Dave Waller), and has been kicking his souvenir match ball around the house since he got back.
Let's hope it's the start of a long journey being a Spireite

Brilliant, that's great to read. It was my 4 year old lad's first home game as well today.

Good lad Dylan, I was surprised and proud to see my great little Grandson come of age as a True Spireite.xx.

Once again great to see so many young Spireites in the East stand, well done CFC for making it affordable to attend the last two home games.

Mine was a small supporting role. The 2000 schools ticket sales over three games are down to Mike. The first two had more than 500 first timers attend and this last one had almost 88% indicate that they only came to the game because of the offer.
The Club now needs to work on turning these children and their parents into regulars; today's product on the pitch will help!

I'd hope they can do it as often as possible, bums on seats is better than empty ones.
My brothers mate went the other week when there was an offer on, and pestered his dad to taking him again yesterday, as well as my brother, all paying full price.

...and judging by the obits in the DT, you have your work cut out. There seem to be 3 or 4 'lifelong Spireites' pegging it every week. Well done for keeping the supply chain going.

We sat in our seats in the West stand (my son taking my Dad's usual seat), but the East stand certainly looked well attended.
In the event the game didn't sustain his interest i'd taken the precaution of downloading the CBeebies app onto my phone, but i'm pleased to say i didn't need it until we landed in the Derby Tup after the game!

Do you think trying to tie in an ST offer with the schools thing is worth a try?
If it worked out at £1 a game for all kids, along with a full price adult ST, do you think it would entice more of these kids who only come on the schools promotion days to buy one, or rather, them and a parent buy one?
Is the level of interest there?
