I wonder if it even crossed DA's mind that there was far more risk in selling Doyle than not. A harsh lesson is perhaps about to be learned. We can only hope anyway.

we can drop down to 18th in the blink of an eye, then we really are in a scrap. There's only 4 points between us and Crewe

Only thing that gives me any comfort is having Cock or No Cock to look forward to. Rather see if I can spot a sausage than listen to that tripe.

The only way we going to get 10 points is ten 0-0 draws .Why take Harrison off for useless armand, why take arybi off and the only other player who scores goals is playing full back.Cooks f*cking lost the plot.

Don't blame PC. He can only work with what he's got. Our chairman decided to give up on the season the day he gave Doyle away for peanuts. That was HIS decision and his intention, and it's his money so his decision is what counts. I haven't noticed any comment lately from the apologists for the club's spineless capitulation who were telling us we ARE STRONGER NOW Doyle has gone! What always looked like a laughable comment has now been proved to be totally ridiculous. I still have faith in PC but I'm not looking forward to the utterly predictable decline in attendances, morale, and future season ticket sales. As I said on the day Doyle went, it was a short-sighted panic decision which makes zero business sense. All we can do is trust in Cooky now.

Time, perhaps, for DA to ponder his decision to sell Doyle.

As I said earlier, he deserves relegation for being so unambitious

Saturday just got very interesting. Rochdale are as bang out of form as we are. That result might just indicate which way in the league are remaining season is going

Hoping we aren't another Rushden and Diamonds, 2003-2004, good start, form collapsed didn't win again all season and ended up in the bottom 4. Guess who pipped them, Chesterfield, wit Glyn Hurst and his famous Luton goal.

Can remember when he said he had learned his lesson when he didnt give Craig Davies the wages he wanted!!!
Looks like he didn't after all.

I've not banged on about it as others have but my opinion at the time was that I failed to the logic in selling now, rather than in the summer.

But how is Harrison going to gain confidence when he don't get 90mins and Armand will be lucky if he scores again and clucas our leading scorer is playing full back!!!

Cook needs to accept that the strikers we have are not going to do the business for us. Fortunately I think we have the man for the job. Sam Clucas.

Well I have banged on about and I feel 100% vindicated. dim view would have you believe that we've 'won the pools'. Delusion by certain posters, absolute madness.

We'd have been better off keeping him, maybe challenged for the playoffs, kept the feel good factor and the attendances good and then give him away in the summer for nowt! That might sound daft, but this one is going to cost us if we carry on dropping down the table and playing like we are and not scoring and w.e'll end up with nowt for him anyway.
I can’t see the feel good factor coming back either, so financially instead of real bumper crowds to look forwards to in the run in they are going to be well done. Great decision selling Doyle for what they did.
