They are a bunch of absolute f***ing idiots.

My favourite Is the one asking "who do we think we are?" Just because we only gave them the full away allocation.

I was expecting it to be followed by a "Do they know who we are?"

Think I'll keep an eye on that thread to see how it plays out. Could get complex

It appears to have gone from us losing out on a full house when the game is sold out to them now complaining about breaches of the Data Protection Act because Sheff Utd have shared their membership database with us. Pesonally without knowing the ins and outs of said Act i would have thought that sharing information in order to prevent trouble isnt an issue and they have no case.

Absolutely no case, as they have breached the T&Cs on the issue of the tickets they will be lucky to get their money back.

Ideal scenario that. Win win

You can help yourself. You presumably have complete control of your body's movements and the sounds that come out of your mouth so yes, you can absolutely 100% control yourself.

Perhaps the clubs weren't acting on the own and the police may have been involved.

Presumably they will know where the ones who aren't on the database are sitting so they better behave.

Just goes to prove that bragging on message boards should be avoided when it comes to this sort of issue

I'd bve 99% sure that the checking on tickets will have come after police have spotted the bragging and asked the clubs to cooperate and try to identify where away fans will be in home ends.

The interesting part is whether they can claim a refund for the blocked tickets. If they are successful we'll lose out as there won't be sufficient time for us to resell the tickets and recoup the lost income.

Went down today to pick up two tickets of the remaing 20 released in the West stand for two mates and asked if we can resell the Blunts tickets which are being blockedand the reply was NO but even she couldnt understand why ?? Looks like there maybe a few empty seats here and there which is a shame as could have resold them between yesterday and KO.

Looking at the T&Cs regarding entering areas designated for opposing fans it would appear the CFC would be within their right not offer refunds. I suppose it depends on how hard-nosed the club wants to be and the persistence of the individual.

I suppose some of the stuff on here and that Blunts thread is similar to what we were saying regarding our visit to Mansfield last season.

One big difference, though.

We can sell out our's, whilst as predicted there were thousands of seats left unoccupied for their biggest game in years.

Subsequently we had every right to request more capacity then, but it's just t*attish arrogance from Bacon Boys to demand extra tickets for tomorrow.

And any in our ends?

I'm sure there'll be as many Blunts amongst us as Spireites amongst Staglets a few months ago. So let's not be hypocrites (especially as a number of us have already swapped stories about visiting the Bramall Lane Kop). That said it's all about respect: do so and everyone's happy; fail to do so and deserve everything you get.

Which rather answers the question. If they bought tickets in breach of the regulations and we lost the money we would have got from selling the seat to someone else as a result their actions have cost us money and we are quite entitled to refuse a refund.

And even more surprised they can then resell them.

Look, i don't understand why they are moaning! Everyone knows that when you get a ticket in the opposing sides stands, it no doubt leads to confrontation! How can people complain about it & expect a refund!? Just don't do it!
Yes, there are genuine fans who would be ok...but we all know there is an element that are purposely buying tickets to cause trouble.
Well done CFC & it obviously shows we/they are making the effort to eliminate any potential trouble.

The well established league one side Sheffield United do not consider us rivals? Seen as half their support live in North Derbyshire and Hope Valley I find this bordering on Bowels arrogance
