Great stuff.
King Kev on Preston Player isn't bad either. Nearly 9 minutes, over 6 of them devoted to his time at CFC.

Yes, good Interview with Kev, you can tell the semi final fiasco still hurts him as much as us

Confirmed this afternoon. Sam Hird is with us again on Tuesday night.

He'll be in the commentary box with Farries. We're also on player tomorrow too!

Heyup Tom
Don't we get commentary highlights anymore?. Being at t'match I didn't hear Sam. Did he analyze what went wrong in our defence for their goal?.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Well it least it won't have been the 'Tommy should have covered the near post' we see on here. On that point, did everyone see how soon their keeper went down to cover the near post, leaving a massive inviting gap for Doyle to aim at for his second goal?

A shame but no need to rush him and potentially cause a recurrence.

Makes you wonder why we risked him in the first place?

I think Doyle threw in a body shuffle/shimmy/dummy and the 'keeper went early.

Preston are a decent side. A point at Deepdale will be a good result.

I really fear no one with how things are developing and expect 3 points, Preston play good football on the floor but again with the wide open spaces like Vale Park it should suit our counter attacking big time.
God I hate this league.

Sounds a decent theory, but not what happened in reality. Keeper just went too early (as per the highlights).

typical town fans, quick to criticise if he misses but gives no credit when he scores. I prefer to think our player finished well rather than their keeper made a mistake

Not about that, more about the criticism Tommy gets on here when he concedes a goal. I was pointing out what happens when the keeper ensures ( as some on here advocate) the near post is covered. Doyle was class on Saturday.

He did, and the chasing CH nearly got to him as a result. Shades of Jack.

I said at the time the 2 in play goals he scored satdy were amongst the best he had scored since being here, very instinctive

I agree, I was on the receiving end of a bit of 'I told you so' about Doyle on Saturday night, as I said at the time he scored the kind of chances he used to miss, well done to him long may it continue.

Hi there

Sorry Mr M and Cross Street 62 , i have only just seen this.

Thank you all for your continued support . Sorry you are having difficulties with the interviews. I don't tend to re listen once i have transcribed them ( with three teenagers at home for the summer i am sick of hearing my own voice to be honest!!) but I have paged the technical oracle and he is getting back to me. Hopefully it should be summat that can be sorted quickly. I tried on my iPhone and it did play out but i did have to jab it several times to get it going, i don't have an iPad but will try on my tablet and see what happens there.

Hopefully it will be sorted pronto, but i am on it :)

Karen
