How about at least we can build a non crooked spire and we wouldn''t be proud of poor workmanship like you lot are.

As long as you don't build it in Mansfield, then at least you could be proud of it.
Anyway you couldn't even build four sides to your 'ground' so don't be too ambitious with your church.
If you do what you always do, you'll get what you always get.

Then there's the fact, the undeniable fact, that they can never, ever, overcome being Scabs. Not just in'84/5, but in earlier struggles too.

As I said, our utter dominance on every level means they've nothing to throw at us but feeble, second hand and easily dismissed drivel.

They really Are pitiful

opening day of the season, I didn't go to Orient and took the opportunity to go drinking in notts. I couldn't believe just how many Forest fans got on the train along the Robin Hood line, there must have been 100 or so got on in Mansfield, just on the train we were on. Makes the number of town supporting deedahs seem insignificant

Whenever there's a get together at the in-laws in Mansfield it's rare to speak to anyone who isn't a Forest fan of some level.

Better to have a Crooked Spire and play good football than to build a straight spire and be crap.

Nothing is more frustrating than when a girl you're deeply attracted to tells you she thinks of you as a brother.

Unless she says it in a Mansfield accent.

It must really hurt them.

Looking across the M1 and seeing gates that are double what they get.

Seeing a nice tidy new ground, with really good facilities - and one that has 4 sides, compared to Failed Mill.

Seeing the style of football we play compared to them - its as bad, if not worse than anything old "johnny no goals" served up. Without winning games of course. At least old JD won promotion from the basement with his style. They were struggling at the bottom.

Losing your best (only) football player to us.

The best they can come back with is stuff like this above - we have a bent spire. Hmmm......rather a historic old building with real character than a concrete eyesore for a combined shopping centre/bus stop.

I guess that says it all about them really.

A new hope.

Standards !!!!! Just watch Jeremy Kyle and then spend 10 minutes watching the world go by in your corner of Notts.
God I hate this league.

We'll pass it to his feet, cuddle him when he's sickly and in need of love and generally care for him in ways you never could, Mansfield.
