Saturday's game against Rochdale could see the nightmare scenario of a Ward-less Town side, a seemingly bombproof Richardson still occupying the dugout, all being overseen by a Board resolutely oblivious to a sparsely populated Saltergate and the constant calls for change.

Meanwhile, a copy of the Derbyshire Times blows across the deserted terraces revealing the back page headline: 'Richardson targets new signings'.....

Somebody wake me up and tell me it's all a bad dream.

I really can't figure this out Chris!

20th October - At training, Rico tells players that when the new man comes in in 2 weeks time, he'll be telling the players the same thing.

Board take the decision that a defeat against Aldershot will result in Rico's dismissal.

12th December - Chairman cancels Christmas party as a result of the 4-2 defeat against Macclesfield. Players leave Saltergate in no doubt that the Droylsden game is a must win.

No one can tell me it's about results!

You are correct results have nothing to do with it, it's solely down to our incompetent chairman and his board of yes men and puppets

Look at his record so far, bar one or two players, his signings have not been good.

I wouldnt let him spend a penny of the Ward fee.

I can see the logic behind the plan, but it's certainly killed off this season.

I know some don't believe there is an investor ... but if there was ... then would you throw money towards Rico, or would you knowingly allow him to fail (as he is currently doing) so that you can come in in a blaze of glory as has been mooted before?
It seems to be the only bit of hope to cling to at the moment ... that it's all an ugly duckling experiment!!

Until he arrives I am certainly one of those, the sole reason being it was the fat controller who told us and I am sorry but I cannot beleive a word he says

If its not about results then can someone explain to me what is our club all about. Apart from a good day out at Ipswich there haven't been many smiling faces over the past few seasons. Its depressing following Town in a league so poor seeing us getting thrashed by the likes of Maccelsfield who themselves have been thrashed a few times this season. It makes me wonder whether Hubbard still has the appetite for the club to do well, or is he trying to kill the club of altogether pushing the fans ever further away with his stubborn insistance that Ricco and Sellars remain in charge, when they are clearly not up to the job.

And again another one sees the Hubbard in his true light

Which, as death states, is through incompetence rather than desire.

Sale of Saltergate - Debts = Profit (for Hubbard)

Not sure how he would engineer our demise even if he wanted to but you never know.

Either BH plays ball or he loses the funding, surely that's the position he's in?

Sale of Saltergate, very good profit, no new ground to build and he can do as he's always done and blame the fans.

So what convices you that he isn't killing the club?

So he has zero control of the club then?

I suspect he's able to run the business on a day to day basis without any major change.
