One year deal with an option, so not such a high risk signing. As he was out of contract wouldn’t expect the wages to be significant
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Needs to have found a bit of consistency, no doubt there's a player in there, just needs to put in regularly..

Yeh thats probably it. He's not played a lot of first team football, his previous stint with us is about it, and he's bounced around a few places since leaving us first time around. Hopefully being settled, playing under Cook and working with our coaches can help bring out the talent that he certainly has. He's very mobile so that is a big plus, wonder if they think he could be the younger Mike Jones?

Does it state whether the year option is in our favour? You would like to think so!

Strong, good on the ball, fantastic dribbler for his position, can pass a bit and is young enough to have space to improve. Also left footed which helps with the balance that Cook will want.

It's quite possible that Naylor is going to be the 'Jones replacement' and TA will be given licence to get forward a bit to make use of his strengths.

Or that Naylor will play RCB more often.

Surprised by this. He showed flashes of talent in his previous spell. There is certainly a player in there that could work well alongside Naylor.

Sure this may also be the case, but don't see how that solves the problem of us having immobile centre backs.

Didn't see this coming, but very happy. I always thought he showed potential in his previous stint with us.

Cook himself has said defenders are coming, its the middle of May still....this signing isnt meant to fix that issue although someone mobile playing in front of them will help.

There's not a chance that our best midfielder (by an absolute mile) will play at the back.

He's right footed, bud.

I like this. Low risk, 1 year, doubt we'll be chucking much at him in the way of wages. There's definitely a player in there. He can carry the ball, he tackles and harries well, I just wonder where he's earmarked to play. I know he's a CM, but is he good enough to play frequently in that role in L2? Him and Naylor could be tasty, lots of energy and both can defend and get forward.

Enjoying our business so far.

Imo, for the reasons you've just listed, I think his best position could be RB.
