2-2 on aggregate!

We’re better than both of these.

Did Anderson and Wood line up next to each other for us once? Evatt and Hird injured?

They weren't with us at the same time, Richard Wood was here 2015/16 season and had left before Tom Anderson's loan the back end of the 15/16 season as Wood's replacement then rejoined on loan in the 2016/17 season.

No. They weren’t even here the same year.

Best position is LCB in a back 3, we play a back 4, he isn’t strong or quick enough to play LCB in a back 4. Can do a job at LB but isn’t really dynamic enough. Glad he’s doing well but he’s a victim of our preferred formation unfortunately.

Rather than get concerned about why Cook doesn’t fancy Maguire, I’m more concerned about the fact he seems to fancy Williams/Palmer on the other side.

I would be surprised if Palmer is still here come autumn.

Spent last night running around at ashover helping out with the 100 odd kids doing all stars and kwik cricket so when I got back it was feet up, beer and watched the Como game as they had final day drama to get promoted to the top division. We went to watch them back in November and had a cracking, if very cold, day watching them in the afternoon then Milan in the San Siro later on.

Interesting setup with wealthy Indonesian major owners but then likes of fabregas, Henry also involved abc Dennis wise running things. Also not the worst of views from the ground over the lake if the match is rubbish.

I wouldn’t worry a gnats backside, if Cook sees this as our future. After all he’s been very successful at this management malarkey.
God I hate this league.

I’m assuming the squad list has to be finalised after the window shuts so early September so it would be nice to see eitger Palmer or Williams fixed up elsewhere by then.

Gateshead win after a lengthy with lots of missed penalties shootout. Rumoured to be joining us soon Brown scores the winning pen after equalising in extra time. Labadie and shade both miss shootout pens for second time in two weeks at Wembley!

Bit of irony as Labadie bit two Chesterfield players in the same match, now he’s missed two penalties at the same venue in a bit under one week. Bit of a shame for him but he’s a bit of an ass.

Quite bit of Spireite connections in those pens, ex players, potential future player and a son of a previous player too then a player who have bitten a Spireite.

Yet again a team’s defenders manage to lose possession in their own third by trying to pass around a high press with no idea of what they were trying to achieve.
I’m no get it forad advocate, but why give goals away so cheaply?

Crawley look the first half decent team in these playoffs. MK look abysmal playing in a morgue of a stadium.

In a side note I just watched a Crawley player sat on his ass for over a minute waiting for his substitute to get ready. Imagine our supporters putting up with that? Anyone looking forward to the officiating on L2 is going to be sadly disappointed.

1-2 the comeback is on and the MK stadium is jumping

MK Dons scorer (Dean) should have been sent off for a stamp on a Crawley player. Crawley keeper Addai looks very good……playing as a right centre half most of the time. Maguire hasn’t put a foot wrong

MK had a top three place under their control.

One up at home to our little neighbours in a decisive game.

But then blew it. Massively.

Listening to their manager before t'neet's game I can understand why. Limp as a week old lettuce.

On the other hand Crawley have purpose and spirit. They will beat Crewe at Wembley...
