Both the club and Tyrer have been tight lipped on anything for definite, Webb said they would like him back if he was available while Tyrer said if the option was there he would be interested. There was talk of a if we went up we could have him again clause but nothing official on that. While Boot is a decent keeper he is the only one on the books so i wouldnt be surprised to see two come in with Chadwick leaving unless there is another on knocking about in the club that i've forgotten.

He may well be playing for them next season, or at least on the bench.

The 77 Partners takeover has stalled, with the business facing some court proceedings over other acquisitions and solvency issues over some of its other business areas - the club are skint and rumours of Everton having to sell Pickford, Calvert Lewin and other first team players just to generate money to stay afloat.

They have also withdrawn the appeal against the points deduction - in case it carries over into next season

There will be players under contract who won't be here when the new season starts. You can pretty much bank on that. Also, for anyone surprised to see Cook Jnr staying, of course it's nepotism, and so what? You think PC is gonna make his own son unemployed? If he keeps winning championships, PC can make his dog goalkeeping coach for me.

I think you are right as Cook is under 21 I think and Boot is a keeper. I suspect we might sign one or two U21 players in addition to more senior ones.

May as well withdraw it....they are safe even taking those 2 points off so no point in dragging it on to start on -2 next year after failing in a costly appeal.

We can sign 30/40 players but we can only register 22 to be available from window to window so if we planned to loan someone out we would just not register them in the 22.

Disappointed Hooper has been released he reminded me of Bailey Hobson and Alex Dech? who has scored a bucket full of goals. No surprises, Chadwick was wasting his time here with the 2 goalkeepers he had in front of him. Some really good youngsters available hope they all find decent level clubs.

He could be, its absolutely standard to be returned to parent club at seasons end, what happens next season is totally different.

Don’t get the love in with Maguire

Wish him well and all that but no idea why I’m reading social media posts about him being a Town legend and that we shouldn’t have let him go

Decent enough player but doesn’t have a position in a Cook team, very limited and only really effective on the left of a back three

He’s been at Town nearly 10 years and played around 170 games in that time, he’s never been a regular and never been more than a bit part utility player

If he wasn’t local people would have been moaning that we kept him on the payroll so long
