Well all I can say after that is, I enjoyed my roast lamb when I got in and Michael Caine was on Film 4 in the best version of The Italian Job.

Exactly. We have gone from running away with the league to relegation form. Happy clappers need a reality check.

Not saying it’s right but don’t you think that running away with the league, it’s been all but won for around two months, has something to do with the downturn in form?

It's a good job we blew the doors off the league by the start of march then..

Get a grip. I said 1 poor HOME game you fool. Oh just a little question did we win the league with 5 games to spare

Not one. Add in the away form which Barnet apart has been diabolical.

In the last 12 games we are averaging just slightly over a point, this isnt a knee jerk reaction to one loss, its starting to become a pattern.

1.24PPG over the last 12 games. W4 D3 L5. Scored 25. Conceded 24. We’d only lost 3 for the entirety of the season prior to that.

I’m buzzing we’re up and it’s a good job we were so relentless earlier this season because that drop off is pretty huge.

One things one for sure, Wealdstone will be delighted to be facing us a week on Saturday as we will no doubt gift them 3 easy points that ensures they stay in this league.

Gives me no confidence at all that we’ll be challenging next season.

But hardly surprising too, we'd pretty much got the league sewn up by the end of February, even with a bit of poor form that month too, it was only a matter of winning our home games to get over the line, which we did, so given the fact we've had little to no competition for top spot since early into the year, the drop off is understandable, even tho it is a bit frustrating

You’re right.
It’s very unprofessional though.

The drop off in form is understandable,... but also very frustrating for 8,500 who keep turning up and paying £20 a go. We want to finish the season off in style ... not as a damp squib.

It's not a coincidence weve been bobbins since the trophy lift, incredibly stupid and naïve decision.

Tbf the club wouldn’t have chosen to do it.

I agree but the casual walk ups expect to see a sparkling performance every game. If they see games like today they won't return and we need to try and keep the gates as high as possible.

If they expect to see a sparking performance every game then they’ll be disappointed whoever they decide to follow.

Freckleton first game for about 2 months give him some slack

Not based just on today. Played one good game against Watford - otherwise sub-standard. Not aggressive enough - not dominant as a centre back. My opinion - maybe Cook will have seen something in him, but one thing is for sure - he will be on a free from Sheff. U, and I can't see there being much competition for his signature.

Fair play to the 300 odd Kidderminster fans. All the noise came from that section

today was desperately disappointing and shows the difference between a first team and a second string side....

tyrer....better than boot
shecks....better than king
grimes....better than freckelton
hobson....better than clements
jacobs/colclough...better than hobson
grigg....better than quigley

thats half the starting side. today showed how soft our underbelly is in terms of back ups. squad recruitment is going to be very interesting next year or will we see us dabble in the loan market in far more depth?

He certainly can’t play as a distributing centre back like Grimes does. He looked petrified every time Boot gave him the ball, so much so that he stopped giving it to him and starting launching it long, something we haven’t done all season.
Freckleton was also directly at fault for their 2nd.

They were an absolute credit to their team. Never stopped singing - although when you’re so dominant in a game it does make singing easier!
