Have I missed it, or has there not been an update on his injury?

Assuming he had to have stiches at the Hospital, does that automatically rule him out 'til they're removed/dissolved or can he still play with them strapped up?

He's getting better with game time and will be a loss at RB, but you'd assume Mandeville will slot in if King isn't available.

Not seen anything. I would assume if its just a surface injury he would be good to go.

You would suspect that unless its affecting his mobility he is likely to be good to go. Presume it can be bandaged in some way to offer more protection and go from there.

Wonder if he was wearing these crap mini shin pads that seem to be the fashion but offer next to no protection!

I shouldn't think he could play until the stitches are removed as they may tear, but things have moved on since I was sat in the A&E with a similar injury. I like Sheckleford, and he's slowly becoming a decent right back. More defensive minded than King but doesn't have the attacking effect Geoff King does,on his day. I wouldn't want to lose either at this time of the season, but we could have lost both. Come in Mr Mandeville, you're needed in your stand in position. Mandy is handy should be his slogan 😁.

Not a chance of him playing for a few weeks, Danny indicated he will need many stitches, there is a real chance of it opening up again.

Well he certainly was down playing on Twitter and was moving around freely enough after the game

Webb confirmed in his post-match that 'Shecks' had gone to A+E with a gash down his shin

Yes but when its stiched and Danny said there will be a significant amount of stitches needed then it will become very tight and sore. I had a similar injury many years ago and I reckon he will need a few weeks.

Sheckleford signs contract extension. Excellent. Has improved massively over the last 12 months.

Yes, and if I remember correctly, he's pretty decent in the position too.
