I think the issue has already been brought up at the forum. They squirt some sort of cleaning product on it to try and mask the smell. Apologies if it hasn’t and I dreamt that up. I agree tho, I could smell it on the other side of the wall as I was about to head inside the east stand before the game. Stinks.

Poor bloke a couple of seats down from my grandson was gagging trying to eat his sandwich which he gave up in the end.

I didn’t realise it had already been raised. Hopefully they sort it soon, I won’t be buying tickets over there again until it’s sorted.

I sat at the south end of the East stand for the Barnet game and the smell in that area of the ground is horrendous. My first thought was it must be dodgy drainage from the bogs but after the game I walked out past a large skip full of rotting grass which is where the smell was coming from. Loads of people around me complained of the stench.

Would it be possible to get it cleared away before games?

The PA system was worse than ever in the South Stand today. No hope of hearing a thing.

Why is w7 kept locked from people buying tickets? Only the front few rows are usually available..

That’s just your old age Tim, clarevoyant struggled in the West Stand until he asked for the volume to be turned up, it’s deafening for everyone else.

Plenty in there complaining... doesn't work cos folk by tickets in the other blocks and move over there instead..just open it up for sale ..

To close to the press for an atmosphere??

The best atmospheres in the ground are when W7 is packed (Oldham, West Brom, Barnet, Portsmouth to name a few). The club should be actively encouraging it not trying to make it difficult

W7 gets the North stand and West going better than the Kop (which S5 aside was quiet yesterday I thought) and can be heard from the East too. It looks fairly full for Orient next Sun too so sure it’ll be a decent atmosphere again

To be devil's advocate. There's probably some older season ticket holders in W7 who have been there for a few seasons who don't want people standing up near to them during the game and/or heading out of their seats into the isles and the bottom to the stand or goading the away fans in the North Stand.

Judging by the amount of available seats in W7 for some future games their looks to be very few ST holders in that area, especially in the far corner where most seem to congregate but I get what you are saying. I went in there for the Portsmouth game and there was definitely a few people in there who weren’t expecting a lot of people standing as it’s traditionally been a quieter area of the ground.

It does massively help the atmosphere though so the club should work with fans via the fans forum or whatever to make it work rather than try and make things worse by blocking out seats for sale and encouraging others to buy elsewhere then congregate there anyway which is what seems to have happened by the sounds of it

The same seems to be happening where I have my ST in S5 as that area seems to grow game by game in terms of volume of people standing in that block wanting to create an atmosphere, could really work if done in the right way

Heard a few grumbles about heavy handed and bad mannered stewarding yesterday.

As one of the ST holders in the top corner of that section, that's definitely not the case, most of stand all game anyway, and some make our way onto the steps too, (when Zelda, the blonde head steward isn't on one), power crazy that one...
We love a decent atmosphere in there..

It does annoy me when people stand up Infront of me in W7 because I can't stand for the whole match, however I am usually the 1st one singing in there.
