We’ve not had many recently but if (when) we got to league one in a couple of years, we could potentially have Derby, Barnsley, Wednesday, Rotherham, Notts County, Stockport and Mansfield all in the same division.

Miss playing Rotherham the most out of these lot, especially trips into Rotherham town centre. As much as I miss the Mansfield games, the early kick offs and the emergence of the Forest knuckleheads spoiled the last few meetings for me.

Being in this league for so many years and seeing the travelling support of outfits that wouldn’t look out of place in Matlock’s league, only makes you appreciate what we took for granted 10-20 years ago.

Went Rotherham v Leeds last night with work they do have a weird fan base I must say, barely any atmosphere and loads of empty seats for an advertised sell out

Do like their ground though, the location is great in the town centre (which is a massive dump) for a drink or two

I wouldn’t say I hate Rotherham but I do feel many of their fans have become a little delusional about what they ‘should be achieving’. Most now think they’re a typical Championship club and anything less is failure, which is insane.

I just hope when we do get promotion, our fans remember these bad times and put any small blips into perspective. Of course we should have ambition, but we should also keep our expectations in line with the size of our club (League One in my opinion).

Both our little neighbours and that outfit from a town full of Bowels are enjoying their salad days.

The best it'll probably ever get.

Don't misunderstand - I'd take a season or three of bobbing between the second and third tier like Rotherham are doing whilst bog standard fourth tier stuff is our current target.

However I'm just lovin' Tairn's stadium ramming resurgence regardless of who our opponents might be most weeks...

NegativeLet’s not get too complacent and take it one game and one season at a time.
PositiveI hope we clinch promotion after beating Oldham in March so we can show their fans a relevant celebration
