Cook, roberts and Kirk went to watch him tuesday night then we went in for the player the day after. Personal terms agreed! Clubs working on a fee, first bid was knocked back as they want a large amount upfront. Alty have a sell on clause on the player! I heard recently from a guy I know at Leek Town Macc are putting their admission prices up to £17 which given the current economic climate will surely put people off, so if they are losing money its hardly surprising.

If Berry is signed could well be a very good one. I'm a little sceptical about the step up but you just never know.

Yep! It's the structure of the deal which they want changing etc. Plus the player is very keen on the move, route back into professional football etc. Only way it doesn't happen is if Macc change the deal and ask for a ridiculous fee.
