Is it the case that if nothing is agreed by the end of his contract, it goes to tribunal? Could just be a bit bluff calling on both sides even with personal terms agreed. See who blinks first

A deadline needs to be set to get this signing concluded. We cannot have a situation whereby this drags on and on. My expectation is that we would have a list of other potential targets.

Grigg, Dallas Jephcott are 3 we know of so irons in fires should we not get

Cookie is too experienced to only have one target. If we don’t get who we want it won’t be for lack of effort.

If we don’t get Dallas it won’t be because he has gone to a rival in our league

Chesterfield have signed Tom Naylor on a three-year contract after his exit from Wigan Athletic.

The 31 year old, who made 36 appearances in the Championship last season, can play as a midfielder or centre-back.

Why would Dallas be in town 6 weeks after the end of the season, when he has no reason to be here, if he wasn't signed for us? He has been seen in town, on nights out, in Casa in his club tracksuit, and personally by me in the gym 2 days ago – and he is looking fit and sharp. Pretty clear he is here full-time.

Only logical explanation is that he has signed, but it can't be announced until 30 June.

Why do people keep saying this? Players can sign and be announced at any point otherwise players would only be signed from 1st July. All it means is clubs put subject to contract starting 1st July, like we did with Bailey Hobson

Think its likely to be the keeper but would love it to be Dallas to see opposition fans tears just like yesterday!

Because Alfreton agreed that deal.
Moors haven’t agreed to let Dallas go - but he will be free to go after 1 July? (Subject to a dev fee)

Remember the website was hacked so that’s not a reliable source. I’ll believe it when they turn out for the first game of the season, not before. Do not trust anyone!

I know a few are not enamoured by Grigg signing but I think he will be quality at this level. His movement alone will be too much for a lot of defenders he comes up against. Good signing.

No the players contract is up as of the 30th June, he can sign for whoever he wants to. It doesn't have to be agreed between the clubs. It's not a thing
