Craigh246finished in a distant bottom spot in the division and despite an end of season good run of form Middle East is also relegated and will hope to continue that form in Stage 3 to try and bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt. RichThomps1 with a last day win managed to maintain his place in the division and just above was Benno Spire who was always safe!!

Congratulations to Westbars Spireite who is the Division 2 Champion and the Division's and leagues highest scorer in stage 2 bouncing back to the big time at the first attempt despite a last day defeat.
Joe, with a thumping bonus point win against rival Sammy Spireite on the final day has sneaked into the runners up and promotion spot with a clutch of other players just missing out.
FORZA AZZURI finished in a distant bottom spot in the division and will also be removed from the league. Inkyblue finished in the other relegation spot and will ply his trade in Division 3 in stage 3.
DIFH did his best to get relegated losing his last 5 games but had accumulated enough points to just avoid the drop.

Spitfire, 1978blue, The CraftyBuggar and peak blue all falling away at the critical time.
Misnomer finished in a distant bottom spot in the division and will also be removed from the league. East Stand Dan finished in the other relegation spot but thanks to the brown envelope passed to me at todays game by 1978blue will retain his place in Division 3 also due to FORZA AZZURI's expulsion from the league.
Travelman just escaped relegation due to his players raising their game in the cabbage derby against 1978blue.
spireitesarah finished as division 3 highest scorer but still finished in the bottom half of the table.

Despite a late upturn in form WDCFC finishes with the wooden spoon but will be hoping to take his end of season form into stage 3. Spurs fan sneaked off bottom spot with a last day win.
So far there have been 3 new entrants for stage 3 who will join Division 4 and there is still room for more players.
the new entrants are
Sarasota Spireite
Chicken Tikka Mo Salah
Big Dim

Look forward to Stage 3.
Too many drug laced mince pies given to me by 1978blue over the festive period meant the team suffered this time round.

After a difficult season Middle East has cancelled the contract of Middle East by mutual consent but would like to thank Middle East for his work over the past 5 years and for him securing top flight predictions for the first time in Middle Easts history. Middle East feels that he has taken Middle East as far as he can and Middle East would like to take the opportunity to wish Middle East well for the future.
Social media is reporting that there are rumours that Middle East is ready for a new challenge and has already signed a pre-contract agreement to make the predictions for a new second tier outfit coincidentally also named Middle East!

Still got some of those mince pies left!!! My team suffered the same fate , two costly defeats over Christmas and a defeat in the cabbage derby!!. Keep up the good work Ian and thanks for all the effort you put in.
