I think you will find that Sporting Triangles was the greatest TV show ever made.

As a kid Sundays were bullseye, love Joy and last of the summer wine, now i barely switch TV on during the day on Sundays until repeats of bullseye unless it's for sport. Would not be keen on any of the above been remade now, alot were too un-pc and with lead actors dead there's no going back? Look at the disasterous remakes like Dave spikey bullseye

The one "adult" programme that still mesmerises me if I catch it on tv is The Word at War. Contender for greatest factual series ever I think?

That theme tune, sends shivers down my spine every time.

Lol

very good

IIRC he had a couple of heavy henchmen who he used to 'apply pressure' to a few people.

Dennis soon got the better of them though, brains over brawn wins every time.......

They were doing up 'Thornley Manner' said to be in deepest Derbyshire, but it was actually filmed at Beethorp Hall, the wrong side of the M1.

I think they were advised to head to Chesterfield by the locals if they wanted some decent night life, and on a rare day off one of the group suggested they head to Staveley, too.
