Are you joining the lads running up and down Jacobs Ladder?

This’ll get the hamstrings stretched

Can't stretch a hamstring running up a hill

Genuine question, is the gap that big? I've been rowing for 10yrs and play rugby, would be interested to see how my fitness compares to a pro footballer.

All depends on age etc.
Rowing is a lot different (I used to row myself up at Broxbourne)!

Most footballers could knock out a 400m in around 52 seconds.
The average 25 year old bloke would do around 75.
Slower as each year passes.

We're aiming for a similar time I think. Must have picked the same option out of the 3 they recommend..all the best!

Just the sort of stunt Allen would get involved in. Warfey asks a question and says he wants third prize if he wins but players will have to get him up Kinder Scout one way or another. Get in there Warfey !

It remains to be seen what he will achieve here but from listening to him I get the impression he is a motivator, the like of which we probably haven’t seen since Paul Cook. Still think he should sign Drew though 😀

Yep.
The Martin Allen revolution is in full swing with now only 4 players by my reckoning, O'Grady, Wiseman, Rowley, Dodds; who it could be argued might get into a L2 team. This really is CFC at rock bottom.
The solver online tells me that 'Tillerman' is the best partial anagram of Martin Allen. Seems a pretty appropriate nickname considering the stormy waters ahead and the bludddy incompetents he's got telling him which direction to turn.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

He doesn’t strike me as a bloke who will be told where to turn. He has his particular way and the impression I get is that he’s been given a pretty free rein to rebuild a squad and structure the club in his style.
If interference starts from above, my impression is he would more than likely walk
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Can’t expect him to have a team of league 2 players when we aren’t in league 2. If by some miracle we get back up we will again have a team of players who probably aren’t good enough and we will be building all over again

Not wrong Ernie, first of all we need a team capable of getting promoted out of the League we are in then, move on, and concentrate on League 2.

Every season commences with new opportunities it's just that last season, in particular, Caldwell & Branston had killed off any opportunity by the time we had lost the first league game.

I think our season went down hill from the sending off at county. We were comfortable and on for a bore 0-0 or a scraped 1-0 win. Our season just got off to a crap start and got worse and confidence drained with every eeek that went by

How do you work that out, we won the game after...
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.
